The Bowens & Queens apartment development is putting millennial buyers first.

Millennials have been made the top priority at a Melbourne development that’s recalibrating to accommodate them.

Developer Wuzhong International initially designed its Bowen & Queens project as a luxury hub for well-heeled downsizers.

But it has now adjusted the 200-apartment project to boost the number of two-bedroom units and open up more affordable owner-occupier options.

Sales agent Danielle Ashworth said the 19-storey tower had swapped all of its investor focused one-bedroom stock for more two-bedroom homes.

The 19-storey development has been popular with young professionals.

“The flexible floorplates are also now configured to attract first-home buyers rather than downsizers,” Ms Ashworth said.

Two-bedroom apartments are the most popular in the complex, and with prices below $600,000 first-home buyers are claiming the $10,000 First Home Owner Grant.

Residences follow feng shui principles, even including rounded mirrors in the bathrooms.

Set between the Botanic Gardens and Albert Park Lake, the beach is a short tram trip in one direction and the CBD the other.

An onsite gym and a host of local cafes were also appealing to buyers.

The onsite gym is expected to be popular with young, health-conscious buyers.

The tower’s Plus Architecture design aims to have each apartment follow feng shui principles for a “feel good” vibe that includes rounded benchtops, basins and mirrors, as well as dramatic views.

One-bedroom apartments are priced from $397,000-$720,800, two-bedroom designs are $577,500-$918,000 and three-bedrooms are $1,163,880-$3,867,940.

A small number of penthouses are also still available.
