Cornerstone Living enters next phase of development

A new central park located in Queensland’s largest suburban renewal project — Cornerstone Living in Sunnybank, was officially opened in October by Brisbane Lord Mayor Graham Quirk and Consolidated Properties Executive Chairman Don O’Rorke.

One of the state’s largest suburban renewal projects, Cornerstone Living, has entered its next development phase.


Freehold townhomes almost sold out

Work has started on Park Terraces, a 23 townhome precinct facing the 4200sq m Cornerstone Park, which was opened in October, 2018.

Consolidated Properties executive chairman Don O’Rorke said only 30 per cent of the townhomes remained for sale.

“This will contribute to a total 291 apartments and townhomes developed including over 32 per cent classified as ‘Affordable by Design’,” Mr O’Rorke said.


“It’s anticipated that more than 200,000 people will move to Brisbane over the next 20 years, and many of these people will want to live close to the CBD.

“The solution is to identify sites close to the city centre which are able to be redeveloped to allow for a variety of housing types to suit different budgets and lifestyles.

“This is the vision for Cornerstone Living, which is just 11km from the CBD and is home to all ages groups from young couples and families through to retirees.

“The new Park Terraces precinct is prime real estate, overlooking a brand-new community park complete with open spaces, pathways, a barbecue terrace, children’s play equipment and a half-basketball court.

The living zones as the new Park Terraces precinct, featuring three and four bedroom floorplans.

“This new release presents an opportunity for home buyers to live in a brand new home in a well established neighbourhood with six schools, two hospitals and Griffith University’s Nathan Campus all within 5km, in addition to being within walking distance to two rail stations with direct links to Brisbane City and the Gold Coast.”
