Affordable land is driving buyers to purchase property in one of the southeast’s fastest growing corridors.
Developers of Bellbird Park’s Brentwood Forest community are fast-tracking the release of their largest blocks to meet demand as research shows an expected surge in employment and economic growth in the region, with population set to hit 350,000 by 2036.
AVID Property Group Queensland general manager Bruce Harper said the 23 new land blocks would range from 369sq m to 605sq m.
The Outlook 2 land release offers home buyers the opportunity to discover their dream home, with land starting at $199,000.
“Demand for property is surging in the region and as prices continue to rise, buyers are increasingly looking for affordable land options that they can customise to suit their lifestyle,” Mr Harper said.
“I expect demand to only increase as the region continues to expand and job opportunities rise.”
The new blocks are located centrally in Brentwood Forest on elevated blocks, providing some of the best views of the surrounding bushland. Generous frontages range from 12.3m – some of the largest in the community.
Mr Harper said several new amenities had been incorporated into the masterplan for Brentwood Forest to account for the expected growth in the area, including the $1.4 million Tucker Family Park.
In the past 12 months, an early learning centre has opened in the area and the Bellbird Park State Secondary College has increased its intake to include Year 9.
