Dexus
has secured three major tenants at is Foundation industrial estate in Truganina,
west of Melbourne.

Dunlop
Flooring has leased a 9100 square metre property under construction at 380
Dohertys Road, which it will occupy as its headquarters and national distribution
centre. This building will also contain a showroom.

Supermarket
giant Coles meanwhile, will occupy a purpose-built and temperature-controlled
warehouse at 12A Clearwater Place. The 7280 sqm complex will include 60
high-tech banana and avocado ripening rooms.

Logistics company Secon has also struck a lease deal with Dexus: it will occupy part of a 33,310 sqm complex at 47-53 Foundation Road (artist’s impression, top).

This commitment comes three years after Secon sold a 6.3 hectare property in Altona North, about 10 kilometres west of Melbourne, to residential developer Stockland for $48 million.

Dunlop Flooring, Coles and Secon will join brewer Carlton & United, Kathmandu, Toll, Simplot and Isuzu at Foundation.

Following
these rental agreements, Dexus will have developed and lease about 380,000 sqm
of industrial property at the estate.
