A “perfect’’ outdoor lifestyle was the reason why the Narangba site was chosen for one of Moreton region’s newest aged care facilities.
Narangba Aged Care project officer Glenda Sawtell said the Narangba site had a culture allowing residents to have gorgeous views and still feel part of the community
“Narangba was the ideal location as its perfectly placed in the Moreton Bay region,” Ms Sawtell said.
“Narangba loves to make every resident feel like family. We are a compassionate and caring community.
“There is a lot of time and dedication that goes into our facility and our staff.”
She said Narangba Aged Care had modern and stylish furnishings and decor.
“The single level building has been carefully designed to create an open and homely feel with a sense of community,” she said.
“There are large glass bi-fold doors opening from the main lounge and dining areas to the outdoor landscaped gardens and seated area encouraging residents to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.”
Ms Sawtell said they offered permanent aged care accommodation, dementia specific services and respite places.
“There are spacious single suites and double suites so that couples can stay together,” she said.
“There is a social hub in the heart of home with a variety of activities and entertainment.
“Residents can enjoy the onsite facilities including internet access, aromatherapy room, hairdressing salon, activities and lifestyle area, private dining room or they can simply sit back and have a chat and drink in the coffee hub with friends and family.”
The community opened in April.
