49 bids placed before gavel struck down at kenmore auction

The house at 19 Belsize St, Kenmore, sold for $921,000.

SEVEN registered bidders battled for a five bedroom property at Kenmore earlier this month.
On November 3, 50 people gathered at the property to watch as the auction unfolded.
Ray White Toowong agent Sharon King said no negotiation was needed during the auction of 19 Belsize St, Kenmore, with a massive 49 bids placed before the gavel was struck down at $921,000.
According to CoreLogic data, the house was last sold in 2012 for $420,000.

Ms King said the lowset brick property sold to a family with teenage children.
“They loved the position, the size and the fact it is quite new,” Ms King said.
CoreLogic data also says the median house sale price for Kenmore is $703,000.

The house at 32 Mukurta St, Chapel Hill, sold for $825,500.

Also on the west side, was another auction, this time at 32 Mukurta St, Chapel Hill.
McLeod Partners — Ray White Indooroopilly agent Michelle McLeod said three registered bidders placed “steady and considered” bids, before the four bedroom, two-level property sold under the hammer to a local family for $825,500.
