32 Hedderwick Lane, Macedon, a luxury home with a resort-style pool and a $2.25-$2.35 million price tag has been snapped up by a family from Brighton.
A MACEDON resort-style property has sold to a family living across the city in a bayside suburb.
The buyers from Brighton snapped up the six-bedroom house on a 2.59ha block at 32 Hedderwick Lane for an undisclosed price on October 18.
Raine & Horne’s Cherie Graf said the property attracted strong interest while it was on the market with an asking price of $2.25-$2.35 million.
“We had potential buyers from across Melbourne, including Brighton and Toorak,” she said.

The buyers were drawn to the property’s size, quality and location in the Bolobek Lakes estate.
“This is an up-market pocket in the area with large unique homes,” Ms Graf said.
“It offers a semirural lifestyle protected by planning guidelines and common property features.”
At the foothills of the Macedon Ranges, the property with four bathrooms and a four-car garage offers a lavish lifestyle complete with a magnificent pool, stunning outdoor entertainment zone and a home theatre.
One of the many luxurious features.
There is a children’s retreat on a mezzanine level, a hotel-style parents’ sanctuary plus a separate wing for guests or extended family members.
“The property also has gorgeous views across to Mt Macedon and Camels Hump,” Ms Graf said.
“It is a private paradise with a lake, walking paths and landscaped gardens with outdoor seating.”
The country landscape is captured by soaring windows in the lounge room.
Ms Graf said the booming market in the Macedon Ranges suburb was fuelled by strong demand from Melbourne families.
“They are looking for the country lifestyle near schools and easy access to the CBD,” Ms Graf said.
The area also offered a good range of character homes on larger blocks that offered privacy, she added.
Latest data from CoreLogic reveals the median house price in Macedon has soared 37 per cent to $815,000 in the 12 months to July. The price jumped 55.2 per cent in three years.
