2 Kinane St, Brighton seeking a deep-pocketed buyer.

Two pools, four levels of living space, six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and 3200sqm of prime beachfront land add up to one special Brighton property.
And it could be yours — for $20 million.
Buxton Brighton director Stefan Whiting said the sprawling mansion was built at 2 Kinane St in the ‘80s by Rich Lister property developer and Becton founder Max Beck as his own home, combining contemporary luxury with old-world Hollywood glamour.

The property is set on 3200sq m next to the beach.

It features two pools, including this 25m lap pool.

Mr Whiting said it offered “the opportunity of a lifetime”, with properties of this scale and position rarely relinquished by their owners.
CoreLogic records show the rare offering last changed hands for $10.8 million in 2013.
It’s down the road from the French-inspired mansion Shane Warne sold for $5.35 million in 2016 at 11 Kinane St.
Buyers would have the option to move in and “experience next level luxury” or redevelop the blue-chip block, subject to council approval, Mr Whiting said.

Entrance hall and staircase make a statement …

… as does the wood panelled dining room.

The property offers views of Port Phillip Bay, the city skyline and Brighton’s beach boxes, and resort-style facilities including a 25m indoor lap pool, outdoor pool and spa, tennis court, outdoor kitchen, steam room and sauna.
There’s also a basement Gold Class-style home cinema, and a bar and entertainment room flanked by glass on the top floor.
The grand terrazzo foyer and staircase, 1200-bottle cellar and wood-panelled dining room ooze sophistication.

The glass flanked bar and entertainment room.

The palatial main bedroom with bay views.

The kitchen is state-of-the-art and main bedroom, palatial, with a gas open fireplace, marble ensuite and dressing room.
A children’s wing and ground-floor guest suite complete the accommodation offerings.
The property’s expressions of interest campaign closes on December 18.

The kitchen is also top notch.

The property has a $20 million price guide.
