7 Chapman St, Brighton East is on the market asking $4.2-$4.6 million.

This builder’s own home in a blue-chip Brighton East pocket had barely been on the market half a day before buyers came knocking.

The 7 Chapman St property that’s “jam-packed” with bells and whistles has $4.2-$4.6 million price expectations for its private sale campaign.

Among its features and fittings are a tiled pool, two freestanding baths, a Miele kitchen, plus a granite barbecue kitchen in the alfresco terrace, home automation, in-floor heating and expanses of Brazilian natural stone, porcelain tiles and oak.

The property was completed last year.

The house offers seamless indoor-outdoor living.

O’Brien Oakleigh selling agent Lambros Bollas said all this, and more, had prompted “half a dozen people calling me wanting to take a look after 12 hours on the market”.

“Because of the high-level design, I think buyers will be coming from anywhere, including Bayside and Port Phillip,” he said.

“And it’s in the best little pocket of Brighton East.

“The top-end listings seem to be going really well.”

The Miele kitchen is a highlight.

One of the home’s living spaces.

The five-bedroom, five-bathroom masterpiece was designed by KG Architecture and completed by Accord Builders last year.

Mr Bollas said a highlight of the three-storey floorplan was the basement level that “doesn’t feel like a basement at all”, as it was flooded with natural light from an adjoining courtyard.

It features a bedroom, bathroom, home theatre, and games room or gym.
