2 Claremont Rd in Burwood Heights sold for $2.3 million.
A FIVE-bedroom house in Burwood Heights has achieved the top auction sale price in the inner west for the week, selling for $2.3 million.
It was a local family looking for a larger home who beat out five other registered bidders at the auction of 2 Claremont Rd, with selling agent Tony Licastro of Elders Inner West having three competing.

The auction kicked off at a strong $2 million, with buyer feedback sitting around the $1.9 million to $2.1 million region.
It increased steadily with bids of $50,000 up to $2.2 million, before progressing in bids of $10,000 up to the sale price.
The large block was a major selling point.
It was a strong sale for the area, with the majority of interest coming thanks to the sizeable 920sqm block and four-car garage, Mr Licastro added.
“When a property comes up like this people really take notice,” he said.
