Strong early interest in a two-bedroom apartment in Lane Cove has prompted the agents to bring the auction forward by two weeks.
And when they say strong interest, they are not kidding. The first open home attracted 103 groups, and since then another 97 have been through the renovated apartment.
Patrick Lang and Tim Holgate, of Belle Property Lane Cove, have brought the auction date forward from July 27 to this weekend.
“We have had 200 groups through in nine days,” Mr Lang said.
He put a lot of the attention down to stock shortage. He said that typically, four to six, two-bedroom apartments come up for sale in Lane Cove every week.
“This one was the only one listed,” he said. “Not since about 2015 have we seen numbers like this.”
The apartment, at 6/19 Ralston St, has been fully renovated.
With a total floor space of about 105sqm on title (including the balcony and car space), the apartment is very private and has a leafy outlook. It goes to auction on-site, at 12.45pm, with a guide of $700,000.
