AFTER not having any luck finding a property to buy in Torquay, a buyer broadened her search and found the ideal holiday house to buy in Aireys Inlet.
The buyer secured 108 Great Ocean Rd for $798,000.
Great Ocean Properties, Aireys Inlet agent Mim Atkinson said it was a very quick sale in the end.

“The buyer had been looking around the Torquay region and saw this online and came down from Sanctuary Lakes to inspect it,” Ms Atkinson said.
“She then got her husband to come and look at it and they bought it.”
She said they plan on using it as a holiday house for the next few years with a view to live there after that.
“She is going to do a reno to it and will be leaving it as a legacy for their kids which the vendors are thrilled about as they built the house 30 years ago and are happy someone else will love it as much as them,” she said.
The three-bedroom beach house is on 614sq m of land and has a cathedral ceiling in the living area.
The property is on the ocean side of the Great Ocean Road and is a short walk to the beach.
The median house price in Aireys Inlet has increased 7.4 per cent in the past year to $800,000, according to CoreLogic.
