THE final stage of highly sought waterside residences featuring jewel-like facades has been released at Yarra’s Edge, offering buyers stunning river and city views.
A trio of Wharfside Residences plus three Cargo Homes form the final stage at Mirvac’s 18-home waterfront village along River Esplanade, Docklands.
Inspired by the precinct’s wharf heritage, the multi-level homes are just metres from the water’s edge, with the striking facades showcasing zinc, brick, aluminium, copper or timber-look panelling.

Mirvac general manager of residential, Victoria, Elysa Anderson said the release of the strata-free homes had been hotly anticipated.
“The third and final stage of Wharfside Residences and Cargo Homes at Yarra’s Edge has been received with a lot of interest, with a number of properties in the exclusive first release on hold and deposit,” she said.
“The luxury homes are attracting local owner-occupiers who are looking to downsize but still want to live in a thriving and connected community.
“The marina berths available at Yarra’s Edge have also piqued interest given the rarity of being able to live within metres of your berth and just a short walk from the CBD.”
The trio of Wharfside Residences are priced from $3.7-$4.65 million and feature four levels of luxury living with direct river frontage and sparkling water views day and night.
Features include four bedrooms and double-glazed, north-facing, floor-to-ceiling windows. There’s also a choice of two colour schemes.

The expansive kitchens have been designed as a family hub with a generous island bench with a reconstituted stone benchtop, mirrored splashback and high-end Gaggenau appliances, including two 60cm ovens.
When it’s time to entertain you can head to a private rooftop terrace with amazing water and city skyline views.
The three Cargo Homes are priced from $2.08-$2.5 million and have been designed to meet the changing needs of families with three levels of versatile space, including a self-contained ground level space that’s ideal as an office, bedroom or gym with private access.
They feature three or four bedrooms and stunning kitchens with a suite of appliances from Smeg’s new Dolce Stil Novo range, including the oven and cooktop as standard and the coffee machine and microwave as upgrades.

Mirvac design director Michael Weiner said the precinct offered a rich history, which had been woven into the architecture of each home.
“The names Wharfside Residences and Cargo Homes were inspired by the area’s heritage as an industrial port and gateway to the city,” he said.
“Historical elements are referenced in the unique architecture of each home and through the use of raw, honest materials that give the buildings their own individual expression and distinct materiality.”
Construction is expected to start in early to mid 2019, with completion due in late 2020 to early 2021.
