A three-bedroom apartment, located 250m from Collaroy Beach, sold before its scheduled auction for big bucks earlier this month.

Owners couldn’t refuse an offer of $1.932,500 and sold the epic beach apartment just days before its scheduled auction.

The apartment, at 23/14-20 The Avenue, had a guide of $1.9 million and sold to local downsizers.

Nick Duchatel, of Belle Property Dee Why, negotiated the sale and described the unit in his listing as “bright and breezy throughout” and “beautifully presented”.

The home included “a uniquely oversized basement double garage with workshop area/storage plus additional private storeroom” according to the listing.

“Ideal for executive couples or buyers looking to downsize, it promises a haven of light, style and modern comfort in a superb beachside locale”.

The unit is in the pet friendly ‘Sails’ complex and “occupies an elevated northeast position and flows to a wraparound sun trap terrace capturing leafy views to the ocean.”

The unit last sold in 2016 for $1,775,000, and prior to that it was rented for $820 per week.
