221-229 Whitcombes Rd, Drysdale has sold to a Melbourne couple.
A MELBOURNE couple are thrilled to be able to say they own a vineyard after snapping up a sprawling Tuscan-inspired Drysdale property.
The view across the bay is what attracted the couple to 221-229 Whitcombes Rd and the shiraz, viognier, pinot gris or sauvignon blanc vines were an added bonus.
Whitford, Newtown agent Heidi Trempel said the property sold for an undisclosed price.
The buyers couldn’t resist the view.

Price hopes had been $2.9 million to $3.1 million.
“The buyers will have it as a weekender to start with and hopefully spend more and more time down here,” Ms Trempel said.
“They are thrilled with it, they have been searching for a couple of years and I think the view got them on this one.”
The house has beautiful features throughout.
As well as the views and vineyard the property also has a five-bedroom homestead with three living areas, concrete floors, french doors, handmade cabinetry plus a paved courtyard with pizza oven.
This sale comes as a previous sale for the property fell through back in April after about 300 days on the market.
This time around Ms Trempel said it only took a few weeks to find the right buyer.
