He also implemented a “mystery shopper program” to ensure customer service expectations were being met by each member of the team.
The popular inner city agent said he was humbled by the honour.
“I have probably had the best 12 months of my career which has been challenging in what is considered a flat market,” he said.
“It means even more as these awards have nothing to do with money but how you contributed to the real estate industry and community in general.”
He recently sold this house 200 Wilson St in Newtown for $1.716 million prior to auction.
His role in raising a combined $70,000 for St Michael’s Primary School by auctioning a fee-free property each year was also noted.
Mr Ersan was one of 21 winners at the awards ceremony, which recognises the most innovative, community-minded and highest achieving individuals.
