Four of Queensland’s top 10 streets are on the Gold Coast.

PROPERTY on the Glitter Strip reigns supreme with four of Queensland’s top 10 most viewed streets on the Gold Coast.
Skyline Terrace at Burleigh Heads claimed third place on the list of most clicked streets on realestate.com.au over the three years to September 30.
Mallawa Drive at Palm Beach, Knightsbridge Parade West on the Sovereign Islands and Tallebudgera Drive at Palm Beach came fourth, fifth and sixth consecutively.
Ray White Palm Beach agent Colin Brennan wasn’t surprised Skyline Tce was ranked highly on the list.

The property Ray White Palm Beach agents Colin Brennan and Mark Stafford sold at 77 Skyline Tce, Burleigh Heads.

There are stunning views from many of the rooms.

He and colleague Mark Stafford recently sold a large estate on the street for $1.9 million, with its panoramic views a major selling point.
“You get the best of both world there,” he said.
“I don’t think there’s anywhere else you can capture those views and be only minutes from the beach.

“That’s the only street that’s got those views.”
He said the street was short with few houses so it was tightly held.
LJ Hooker Burleigh Heads agent Paula Dunford sells property on both Mallawa and Tallebudgera drives.
She said the proximity to the water attracted house hunters.

A renovation has breathed new life into the property.

“Mallawa Drive is one of the few waterfront streets that have direct ocean access,” she said.
“It’s about 800m (east) to the beach from most properties there too.”
She said most of Tallebudgera Drive had access to the estuary, which was popular for water activities including swimming and kayaking.
“You’ve got a section down the end of it where it’s got water pretty much on both sides of it,” she said.
Streets on the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and the Gold Coast were on the top 10 list.
REA Group chief economist Nerida Conisbee said she was surprised at the wide geographical range in the Queensland data.
“It probably shows that there is currently a wide range of people looking at the southeast market at the moment,” Ms Conisbee said.
“For example, if you were looking at Brisbane or the Gold Coast from Sydney you probably wouldn’t be deterred by commute time.
“That’s probably why you see half of the top 10 spread across the Gold and Sunshine Coast.”
