On the eve of the election, former Kerry Packer right-hand man Geoff Levy has sold in Rose Bay for $13m+, while designer, author and TV presenter Sibella Court has sold in Bellevue Hill for $1.7m+

Ray White Double Bay’s Gavin Rubinstein and Elliott Placks had the Churchill Rd home of Mr Levy, who is the chairman of Monash Private Capital and former CEO of Investec Bank, on the market for just 15 days.

But with three parties keen on the luxurious six-bedroom home with iconic views, the pair sealed the deal this evening with the successful purchasers a local Chinese family.

Mr Rubinstein, who has had an incredible run with well over $50m worth of sales in three weeks, said there was a broad range of eastern suburbs families interested in the huge home during the short campaign.

Mr Rubinstein was tight-lipped about the result of the Rose Bay home due to a confidentiality agreement, but sources confirmed it was in the $13m to $14m range.

It hadn’t been scheduled to go to auction until April 3. The house, in the name of Mr Levy’s wife, Deborah, was bought for $3.05m in 1994.

Meanwhile, Phillips Pantzer Donnelley’s Anthony Puntigam has this evening wrapped up the sale of Ms Court’s apartment at 4/22-24 Blaxland Rd, Bellevue Hill.

He too was bound by a gag order, but sources confirmed the sale price was above the $1.7m guide.

Last week, Mr Puntigam told the Wentworth Courier that he suspected it may sell prior to its scheduled March 30 auction, with professional couples and downsizers all hovering.

The apartment had only two bedrooms, but with 168 sqm of internal space it’s the size of a house.

Ms Court bought the apartment, which is one of two on the top level of the two-level block that consists of five apartments, for $1.65m in 2016.

As the Wentworth Courier revealed last week, Ms Court has bought a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home with ocean views in Bundeena. Sources said she paid just over $2m.
