It looks spooky but is actually a luxury spa retreat.
IT looks like a castle that would bring your worst nightmares to life.
But just like the tradition of trick-or-treating on Halloween, this medieval castle might appear terrifying yet is all in the name of good fun.
The building, known as The Castle on Tambourine, is part of boutique Gold Coast accommodation Lisson Grove.
Imagine sitting down to dinner at this table?
It looks less spooky in the daytime.
The 7031sq m estate on the mountain’s Main Western Rd is on the market with a $2.995 million price tag.
Marketing agent John Cauchi-Gera, of First National Broadbeach, said the owners were looking for a buyer that would breathe new life into their much-loved family business.
“I’ve had several people through the property and we’ve even had people willing to purchase but not at the price (the owners) want,” he said.
Ever wanted to stay in a church?
It even looks like a church on the inside.
Lisson Grove has six themed cottages, including a church and English style lodges.
The castle, which is the newest addition to Lisson Grove, has two separate lodging wings as well as a day spa and is a popular place for weddings.
The traditional style of all the buildings and their antique furniture add to its character.
Mr Cauchi-Gera said it looked a little bit spooky but was a peaceful place to get away from the city’s hustle and bustle.
“It’s very different but it’s just a beautiful property, it’s stunning,” he said.
Kick back and relax in the spa.
