Jellis Craig agent Michael Hingston said the home sold to a family from Balwyn North a short time later.

“The location is a big thing — the Anniversary walking trail is basically right next to the property, and is very popular, and local schools.”
The home features two levels of living, with a mix of formal and casual living areas including a main family area that leads to a backyard with a solar-heated pool.It sits on a 716sq m block.
Elite schools and amenities were said to be a big drawcard of the property.
The home was built in 2000.
Mr Hingston said it was hard to find a house on a block of that size within the leafy suburb for under $3 million.
Deepdene has a $2.75 million median house price, CoreLogic data shows. “It was built in 2000 and is in very good condition, you wouldn’t know it is 18 years old,” Mr Hingston said.
