A Goolwa North home offers an idyllic waterfront lifestyle and a striking design not often seen in South Australia.

Matthew Lumbers is selling his late father Warwick’s Janz Ave home and says his dad had loved the home’s location and style.

“It was a good 10 years ago that he bought it – and the water definitely attracted him, and he loved the quality and the stature of it,” he says.

“It’s definitely the only Queenslander in the area and is of exceptional quality. They don’t build houses like this anymore. It’s rock solid.”

The home has six bedrooms, two bathrooms and multiple indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces. It is set on a 1231sqm allotment and has its own private boat ramp offering direct access to the river.

“You can see from Currency Creek, to Hindmarsh Island and the river – the views are great,” Mr Lumbers says. “It would make a great family beach house, we’ve rented it out prior and everyone’s loved it. I will miss this place, it’s just such a wonderful house. It will make someone very happy, and it will be nice to be able to give them that opportunity.”
