Brothers Anthony and Sam Hordern have spent $3.2 million on a three-bedroom Darling Point apartment after the family’s long-time Bellevue Hill home was sold earlier this year.

The 155 sqm apartment, spanning an entire level of the 1970s block of 11, has been stylishly renovated since it last traded for $1.7 million in 2011.

Stone Real Estate agent Daniel Baran sold the apartment pre-auction after 50 days.

In June, the brothers and their parents Joy and Sam Sr finally found a buyer for the family’s heritage-listed home of 84 years which was listed in late 2016.

NBN director lists Southern Highlands estate

NBN director Michael Malone, has listed his Southern Highlands retreat Aberdeen.

Malone paid $4.65 million for the 43ha estate in 2014, soon after he retired from internet service provider giant iiNet, the company he set up in 1993.

He bought the sprawling Fitzroy Falls property from Rex Airlines founder Michael Jones and wife Michelle.
