Only two apartments are still up for grabs in a popular Epping project.
In the suburb’s tree-lined Cliff Rd, Watsons Grove is a low-rise unit development which has seen strong sales among local residents.
Developer SJD Property has delivered three buildings — each standing five storeys high — and sold almost all of the 141 apartments.
The last remaining homes were held off, to hit the market once construction was finished.
The apartments have been sold through Ray White Projects and sales to date have seen solid interest from mostly local buyers.
“About 80 per cent of the project is owned by owner occupiers, which is different to the typical Epping market,” managing director and partner Eddie Mansour said.
“We have seen a real mix of professional couples, empty-nesters and young families. What’s great about these buildings is they have large balcony sizes, and that seems to attract the family buyers,” he said.
Near shops, transport and Lane Cove National Park, the north-facing apartments are surrounded by landscaped gardens.
The building design incorporates sandstone, a “timeless and classic” look which the developer has used in other projects, including one in Wahroonga.
While both apartments up for sale have two bedrooms, they differ in their floorplan. One costs $860,000 and the other is $970,000.
“One is a split-level design, which has one bedroom on each floor,” Mr Mansour said.
