The Luxe 296 is a contemporary single-level home that has stacks of luxury features and makes the most of every season.

As part of its signature look, the Arden Homes design has two sun courts that harness natural light year-round to make the surrounding rooms extra bright and inviting.

A raised ceiling with highlight windows in the open-plan kitchen/living/dining zone adds to the relaxed and airy feel and is a stunning feature.

“The raised ceiling makes the space feel like it’s much larger and gives the home a strong architectural edge,” Arden Homes director Dean Morrison said.

Highlight windows and a high ceiling give an airy feel.

Appealing largely to second and third-home buyers, the Luxe provides high-end design with a practical focus.

The main bedroom has a sizeable walk-in wardrobe and is positioned off the open living area, away from the other three bedrooms for extra privacy. The ensuite also has a private feel.

“We are finding more of our customers requesting additional privacy within their bathrooms, which is why our Luxe 296 ensuite is positioned to the outer side of the home,” Mr Morrison said.

A black freestanding bath creates a bold style statement next to a picture window that enjoys a private garden outlook. It’s a serene scene for an indulgent soak at the end of the day.

A sliding door from the main bedroom to one of the sun courts rounds off the space as an idyllic parents’ retreat.

Multiple living areas are a must-have for families today, according to Mr Morrison. He said this home’s second leisure space, at the front of the home, made a great rumpus room, especially given its closeness to the kids’ bedrooms.

The house has dark timber features, which inject elements of warmth and contrast.

The features include vertical room dividers, and a projected timber unit that makes the rear living room’s fireplace a strong focal point.

The kitchen demonstrates Arden’s commitment to building homes with stylish inclusions as part of its standard design offerings.

Expect to find first-class Fisher & Paykel appliances, including a French-door fridge, and stone benches, as part of your everyday.

Those features, along with a butler’s pantry with a servery that connects it to the rear sun court, will help make light work of entertaining.

The Luxe 296 is available in four facades, with the Nova displayed at Torquay. It features a blend of exterior materials and a skillion roof.

Arden Homes is an award-winning builder that was recognised at the 2018 Victorian Housing Industry Association awards. Its Votivo 43 display home won the award for best display home $400,001-$500,000, while its Milan 29 Mk2 was runner-up.
