The owners and directors of Queensland Sotheby’s International Realty have sold their Hampton’s style mansion.

ANOTHER multimillion-dollar deal has been notched through Queensland Sotheby’s International Realty — this time it was the directors’ own mansion.

The luxury Hampton’s style home of the real estate company’s directors, Paul and Deanne Arthur, sold for an undisclosed figure last week.

The sale price was below the $4.35 million asking price.

The property 20 Neptune Court, Paradise Waters, sold below $4.35 million.

Hello Hamptons!

The property at 20 Neptune Court, Paradise Waters, hit the market in October with a $4.85 million price tag that was later slashed by $500,000.

The sprawling four-level house has seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms and a three-car garage and is on more than 20m of water frontage.

A heated, saltwater swimming pool and spa was part of the package.

Queensland Sotheby’s International Realty agent Mashelle Jones, who marketed the property, said the buyers were locals downsizing from a “much larger Hampton’s home.”

“They were attracted to the fact it was the same architect as their own home and the family just love Hampsons homes,” she said.

“The gardens and property itself has been beautifully maintained and it’s Paradise Waters.”

The Arthur’s purchased the house in 2014.

It last sold for $3.3 million.

The Arthur’s splashed $3.3 million on the house in 2014, according to property records.

“Raising our boys in America for 10 years, we immediately fell in love with the sophistication of the Hamptons style of the home when we purchased,” Mrs Arthur said when the property hit the market last year.

“It didn’t take long for us to appreciate the functional floor plan which allows for separate kid and adult areas while the open-plan living areas bring the family together.

“I love the water view while cooking dinner and we have a constant flow of jetskis and boats pulling up in the backyard for weekend barbecues.”

The family are yet to purchase a new house.

It offered the best of waterfront Gold Coast living.
