An oceanfront Dover Heights designer home owned by a Macquarie Bank exec has hit the market as its agent, D’Leanne Lewis, notched up a Bellevue Hill street record with a $10.3 million sale.
Other sources revealed this week’s deal for the Latimer Rd, Bellevue Hill home — which beat the previous record by almost $2 million — and the Laing and Simmons principal was tight-lipped when contacted.
However, property records show the five-bedroom home on its 993 sqm north-facing block was owned by Susanna Press, partner at Modern Heritage Matters, who paid $6 million in 2013.
It was designed by architects Casey Brown — though it hadn’t been renovated recently — and had a heated pool.
Due to it being an off-market transaction no current photos are available.
Meanwhile, there are plenty of stunning photos of Ms Lewis’s new listing at 6 Lola Rd, Dover Heights.
Although she didn’t reveal it, the architectural four-bedroom, two-bathroom residence on the cliffs with infinity pool is known to be the home of Macquarie Group human resources director Belinda Farrell and her husband, Brian.
There are expectations of $8 million ahead of the December 9 auction.
CoreLogic data shows the 582sqm property last traded for $5.5 million in 2007.
The house, with secure parking for two cars, is set back from the street, which ensures privacy, and it has a flexible floorplan over two levels.
There are multiple formal and informal entertaining areas leading to outdoor entertainment areas and an open-plan gourmet kitchen.
The master suite is stunning and has beautiful views, with a sitting area, work station, dressing room and balcony.
The home has very stylish marble bathrooms and there are natural stone and hardwood finishes throughout.
