“We had five parties before the auction express they were going to bid but it started so aggressively between two parties a few didn’t get a chance,” Ms Callan-Harris said.
She said bidding started at $800,000 and there were $50,000 increases so it went up really quickly.
“It was only about three minutes and it was all done, it was really, really quick,” she said.
The house has lots of character.
A swimming pool adds to the lifestyle appeal.
The lifestyle property has six secure paddocks and an original four-bedroom character house.
The house has a central kitchen and meals area as well as a dining room and two living areas.
There is also a self-contained zone with kitchenette and bathroom and an in ground swimming pool.
Ms Callan-Harris said the buyer had an emotional attachment as they were moving back to the area.
“It is tenanted until the end of February and once they have moved out they will move in and do a bit of work to it,” she said.
“They are all pretty excited, it is a beautiful property with a really nice feel.”
