THE price was right for Newtown investors who snapped up a property close to home a day before its scheduled auction.
McGrath, Geelong agent David Cortous said the buyers saw value in the $549,000 purchase of 8 Holyrood Ave, Newtown.
The three-bedroom house is on a 652sq m block in the popular suburb’s river precinct.
“It’s a good location and they were pretty happy with the price,” Mr Cortous said.
