$14 million clifftop home buyers revealed
KKR fund manager David Lang and wife Dearbhail have emerged as the buyers of North Bondi’s record-setting $14 million clifftop home sold by NAB executive Spiro Pappas and his wife Nicolette.
David Lang is the new owner of the $14m clifftop home.
The sale bettered a record set just days earlier when aged-care boss Mark Moran and wife Evette bought the $11.5 million penthouse shell of retail chief Mark McInnes.
The clifftop home is just as impressive at night.
And surfer William Mackay has emerged as the $9 million buyer of another penthouse adjoining Biddigal Reserve, sold by John Bleines — whose father built the Ramsgate Ave block in 1962.
Jets vice-captain dishing Drummoyne property
NEWCASTLE Jets vice-captain Nikolai Topor-Stanley is quietly seeking to offload his Drummoyne investment apartment — a two-bedder he bought on signing with Western Sydney Wanderers after his release from the Jets in 2012.

Topor-Stanley paid $621,000 for the unit that became a rental when he and partner Kylie Kavec upgraded to a $1.4 million four-bed family home in Carlingford in 2016 — which was also then leased for $880 a week around the time Topor-Stanley rejoined the Jets.

Buttrose sets sights north
SOCIALITE mortgage broking director Lizzie Buttrose, who sold her ranch-style Vaucluse abode late last year, has settled on a Port Douglas district home. She paid $902,000 for an acreage with a four-bedroom contemporary Queenslander that last sold at $1.1 million in 2009, and at $900,500 back in 2004.

It comes with horse paddocks, close to the coast, just off the Captain Cook Hwy to Oak Beach.
She pocketed $4.03 million for her Hopetoun Mews battle-axe house when bought by Susan and Damian Steele.

Jeweller’s gem sure to dazzle
DOWNSIZING Jan Logan, who has been one of Australia’s most sought-after jewellers for almost three decades, has listed her Paddington terrace for a November 12 auction.
The three-level terrace has been Logan’s home since paying $533,000 for it in 1993.
Denise Cameron at Raine & Horne has it listed in conjunction with Georgia Cleary at BradfieldCleary and expect around $3 million.
Logan, born in outback Narrabri, opened her first boutique in Double Bay in 1989 after having previously been in business with Narrabri’s main street jeweller.

Stockland boss selling retreat
STOCKLAND boss Mark Steinert and wife Edith are selling their Hawkesbury River retreat at Ebenezer.
The five-bedroom 2008-built home has an elevated terrace with barbecue and wet bar on its 1320 sqm block. With views across the water to Cattai National Park, it also has a private pontoon and jetty.

Harcourts Excellence agent Shane Lindo has a $2 million to $2.15 million guide.
Lindo sold it for $1.5 million in 2012 when it was listed with $1.35 million-plus hopes.
