An oceanfront reserve property in Norah Head has recently been sold for a record price of $2.2 million.
Perfectly positioned on a level north-facing block, the property at 1 Henderson Rd had ocean views all the way along the coastline, six bedrooms and a massive 475sq m house.
Sold in just three weeks, selling agent Damian Montgomery from LJ Hooker Budgewoi said that the buyers were local upgraders who had always dreamt of moving closer to the ocean.
“The property was completely renovated about six years ago and was in great condition,” he said.
“Everyone in the area knows the grassy reserve area in front of the house – it’s a beautiful spot.”
Other feature highlights included high ceilings, solid hardwood floors, gas fireplace and large glass doors capturing stunning views of the bay.
The rear deck opened up from the kitchen which included stone benchtops.
CoreLogic records show that the previous record was held by 53 Bungary Rd, which was sold earlier this year for $1.75 million.
