Buyer pays $2.015m for this Cherrybrook home

Cherrybrook has recorded its third sale above $2 million this year with an older style luxury residence quietly selling off market.
The owners of the double-storey house at 5 Milford Grove had been considering downsizing for several years but were unable to find the right property.

Agent Zack Berdi from McGrath Castle Hill said the couple were also against the whole procedure of public open home showing and wanted the process to be as painless as possible.
Their decision to sell off market proved successful – the house sold for $2.015 million to a buyer who inspected the home twice.

“I had met the buyers over a year ago as they had attended few open homes in the area in search for the right property,” Mr Berdi said.
“After understanding their brief, I showed them 5 Milford Grove – it was a perfect match.’’
The home has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a triple garage set on a 850sq m block close to the future train station.

According to CoreLogic RP Data, the property last sold for $720,000 in July 2001. Cherrybrook’s residential record stands at $2.635 million paid for a 1956sq m property at 8-10 Yanderra Rd in April this year.
A luxury five bedroom home at 4 Oliver Way, on a 529sq m block, sold for $2.145 million in March.
In comparison, the popular suburb achieved eight residential sales of $2 million or more last year.
