No. 45 Fowler Cres in Maroubra sold for $2.55 million.

A FIVE-bedroom house in Maroubra sold at a competitive auction on Saturday for $2.55 million, well above buyer feedback.
The house at 45 Fowler Crescent came onto the market for the first time in 45 years and the buyers saw the potential as five registered for the auction.
There were three actively competing for the house, with bidding starting at $2.2 million. All three interested parties were families who planned to renovate the property and move in.
Nader Hotait of Ray White-Maroubra, who was the selling agent, said buyer feedback was around $2.3 million to $2.4 million.

The property was a big hit among families looking to renovate.

All four bidders got involved, with the bidding starting at $850,000 and quickly progressing past the reserve of $930,000.
The buyer was a local who had been renting in the area and wanted to stay.
Features of the 93sqm unit include a central loungeroom, a sunroom that leads out to the front garden, a gas kitchen and high ceilings with period details in every room.
