43 Bayview St, Tennyson Point, has views of Morrisons Bay.
IF the Abood family feel like some outdoor fun, they can duck out the back gate and be on the water in the canoe or SUP in a matter of minutes.
Or on their bikes, whizzing up and down the bike path. Or kicking a soccer ball around the oval.
“It’s all outside our back door, it’s awesome” Lucinda Abood said.
Mrs Abood and husband Robert found 43 Bayview St, Tennyson Point, by accident in 2011.
“We were living in Balmain and looking for more space — canvassing Drummoyne and Gladesville,” Mrs Abood said.
“My hubby was searching and he found this house in Tennyson Point, we’d never heard of it.”
Walking onto the massive back deck for the first time, Mrs Abood marvelled at the amazing view across Morrisons Bay.
“Then my husband took me upstairs and showed me the walk-in robe the size of a kid’s bedroom.”
The deal was sealed.
The Aboods and their three young children have revelled in every moment spent in their peaceful and secluded house within a stone’s throw of the beach and park. Putney village is a 15-minute walk away.
A room with a beautiful view: 43 Bayview St, Tennyson Point.
Their house has a relaxed flow because of a versatile layout.
Mrs Abood has organised the living options on the ground floor to suit the busy family’s lifestyle.
A discrete lounge with TV, plus rumpus with built-ins is where the children can cause a ruckus.
The living, dining and kitchen zone is beautifully light and bright. Everyone knows Mum’s favourite spot for a cuppa is in the casual lounge with soaring ceiling and glass panelled windows revealing deck, heated pool, park and river.

The house has six bedrooms. A downstairs bedroom next to a bathroom is designed for guests, in-laws or au pairs.
Two of the five upstairs bedrooms open to a wide balcony. The main contains Mrs Abood’s walk-in robe and a modern ensuite.
A refurbished main bathroom has a separate toilet and vanity.
The Aboods have never stopped updating the property. Recently, the house was repainted inside and out while a ceiling fan and heating panels were added to the back deck for year-round all-weather use.
The property goes to auction on Saturday, November 24, through Michael Gallina and Cameron Brown at Belle Property – Hunters Hill. It has a price guide of $4.5 million.
