THREE offers were received for a retro 1960s beach house in a sought after Anglesea position.
The first offer, subject to finance, was put forward on the day of the first open home at 9 Evans St and was accepted however finance fell through.
Great Ocean Road Real Estate, Anglesea agent Kellie Saddington said there were two other offers ready to go and one was unconditional so the vendors choose that one and sold the property for $925,000.

“It is taking a lot longer to get finance, in this case it was 14 days before it fell over,” Ms Saddington said.
“It was a hot little property, people loved the retro 1960s beach house and that pocket being walking distance to everything, being on a flat block and having the reserve right across the road was super appealing.”
Ms Saddington said the property sold to a Melbourne couple that have friends in the area to use as a holiday house.
The house has three bedrooms and an open-plan living area that flows out to a split-level entertainment deck outside.
The median house price in Anglesea has increased 13.4 per cent in the past year to $845,000, according to CoreLogic.
