You could easily fit centre court – ball kids and everything – in this Wandin East shed.

Just think of what you could do with all that space.

Measuring 49m by 24m, the shed at 65 Holden Rd, Wandin East dwarfs the attached three-bedroom house.

The 2.83ha property, which has a price guide of $795,000-$860,000, has already caused quite a stir online, according to Bell Real Estate Yarra Junction agent Tony Fanfulla.

The shed dwarfs the attached three-bedroom house.

What would you do with the space?

“I think everyone’s a bit excited by it,” Mr Fanfulla said.

“It’s a boy thing isn’t it?”

“I’ve been in contact with people with machinery and excavators, it’s ideal for that.”

With 1176sq m of interior space, the shed could easily fit the centrepiece of the Australian Open, Rod Laver Arena’s centre court, with ample room for spectators.

“It’s also nicely tucked away – if you’ve got your hot rods and your toys, it’s pretty secluded and lovely,” Mr Fanfulla said.

“When it’s not smoky you’ve got some lovely views.”

The house is connected.

There’s almost 1200sq m of space in the massive shed.

The accommodation has a recently refitted bathroom and kitchen.

It’s a 2.83ha block.

Mr Fanfulla said he expected a buyer to use the three-bedroom property as a temporary home while building a “lovely big home on top of the property”.

The vendor, whose daughter had been living at the property, had a big job cleaning the shed out ahead of the sale, Mr Fanfulla added.

“He had a lot of crap in there – it’s being sold completely empty.”

“The beauty is in the eye of the beholder – you could even make an indoor horse arena in (the shed),” he said.

The property last sold for $430,000 in June 2017, according to
