Rosanna Natoli’s ‘fantasy’ home would be in the Italian Alps where her parent’s families live so she could make pasta and pick fresh tomatoes and basil.
ROSANNA Natoli is a Seven Network News presenter and University of the Sunshine Coast journalism lecturer.
She volunteers in her spare time as the Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Program ambassador and enjoys eating out with her husband Joe and their three children, girls Ruby (16), Mia (14) and son Roman (11).
Where do you live and why?
I live in Buderim because it’s a beautiful suburb and also because it is so central to all of the activities my family needs to attend — school, work, sport, and the beach! Nothing is more than 15 minutes away.
What do you love about your home?
We are currently living in a townhouse and I absolutely love the low-maintenance lifestyle! The garden is minimal and the trees are well established so it’s a leafy outlook without the work — winning.
What would you change about your home?
With three children, I would like an extra living space where I could block off the television or separate them when they are fighting. With two teenage girls and working as a TV presenter, bathroom space is certainly at a premium.
What is the best thing about your suburb?
Convenience. We are so close to the University of the Sunshine Coast where I lecture, the children’s schools and the cafes at the top of Buderim — it’s perfect.
If money was no option, what would be your fantasy home and where?
If money really was no option, I’d have two fantasy homes …. one in the Italian Alps where my parents’ families live where I’d make pasta and pick fresh tomatoes and basil, and the other in the Caribbean overlooking the sparkling sea.

What was the best piece of property advice you were given?
Position. Position. Position. Buy property and then hang on to it. I wish I had hung on to quite a few of the properties we’ve owned over the years.
