MONA Submits $400m Plans for Hotel, Dumps ‘HOMO’ Name

The $400 million hotel proposal will comprise 172 rooms, a theatre, spa centre, conference facilities, an outdoor concert stage and a library that will house David Walsh’s collection of books, documents and “weird stuff”.

“We are even working on some super-duper, ‘special experience’ rooms with some really-quite-good artists.” MONA said.

Walsh’s bold concept isn’t set in stone however, with the $400 million project still yet to be funded and Walsh claiming not to have the money “on him right now”.

“But then again he has claimed that before, and managed to cough up at the crucial moment,” MONA said.
